The Chicago and San Jose trades aren't good for the Jets, but the remainder is reasonable.

Once again, MTL is not giving the Jets anything significant for PLD.Il they want him they can sign him as a UFA, they'll have top end prospects and cap space to do it in the summer of 2024

WPG needs to send MTL 3 1sts just to do business. PLD is ours for free in a season and a half, no point in giving up good assets for him now.

Yeah 100%, I’d throw them an asset or two to jump the line and guarantee PLD but no chance I’d do it as mentioned above ^

Weird reasoning, why would Dubois just settle for what the Canadiens wants to offer him a year from now with no competetive offers from other teams? Why wouldn't he want to sign a contract this off-season for good money when it seems like he's going to have his best season so far in 22/23?

He can tear his acl next year and hes still getting a monster deal. So instead of being a prisoner of the Jets, he just waits out his deal and signs with who he wants. Most likely Mtl because thats where he wants to be
