Edmonton is heading to the playoffs too, why would they want your soft D?

Edmonton isn't soft they could use a defenseman that can play pp1

Wi-fi isn't going anywhere and specially not to a division rival, the Benn experiment will not be revisited.
T.O.'s 1st will be a high 20's which won't get you Toews, CHI does better elsewhere.
The EDM trade is pointless for T.O. and ARI agrees maybe but Kerfoot not needed there either.

They literally have the best powerplay in the history of the NHL. They have at least 2 guys who are better at anchoring the PP than Sandin. Are you actually serious with that comment??

Barrie is really not good. He can barely do anything on that powerplay. Sandin would be an upgrade

Yes of course the defenseman who has 35 points on the best pp is elite. I don't think you watch hockey

That PP is significantly better with Barrie than without. That tells me that he's a positive contributor. Sanding has never done anything to indicate that he can even run an NHL powerplay, let alone improve the best one ever. tears of joy

its the best PP in the league, why would they move a first to add a piece that "allegedly" would help their greatest strength? usually teams add pieces they currently dont have or try to address a problem area in the team.

Edmonton had a bad powerplay before Barrie despite having same other guys. Barrie has actually improved his defensive game to be good enough and his puck moving gets him out of trouble.

why are the leafs giving a first for a d that wouldnt play for their team, and why are they giving EDM a guy that would be a top 2 d on their team

none of these trades are very good for anyone.

toews would be a 3C making 5 million which is something toronto can't afford. he's not worth double retention. ror or henrique would be better targets

xhekaj is a rookie and not someone you want playing 18-20 minutes a night in the playoffs, especially during a series where a lot of people depend on the leafs winning to remain employed the following season.

kerfoot cap dump is funny. i take him over toews

sandin trade is meaningless, xhekaj isn't an upgrade on him.

The leafs themselves don't even think Sandin is that good considering they play him as the 7th best dman on their own team (including muzzin)
