Description

Read that the Avs just had a scout at the CBJ game. IF Jenner will waive to try to get a Cup...
For Colorado -- get a reasonably priced 2C with some term + rental 3rd pair D.
For Columbus -- Berard, Fantilli or Carlsson will be 1C next year, learning from Laine & Johnny Hockey. They get a reasonably priced top-4 D who can run PP1 this year and PP2 next year when Werenski is back. Get a good prospect and a 1st round pick (maybe the pick is 2024?) Sounds like Manson back Tuesday and Makar/Helm may not be much long. Assuming EJ is out a little bit, roster below.

Columbus needs more

If the price for Gavrikov is truly 1st + 3rd, I think you can equal that to the 1st and Beaucage (beaucage has fallen off pretty hard). There’s no shot Columbus would trade Girard for Boone straight up so I don’t think it happens

Jenner is a versatile second line winger locked down on a fantastic deal for four seasons and is also our captain. It would cost a looot to get him. Not to mention, that first is three drafts away.

Not only is Jenner not available but this wouldn't even come close to getting him alone, let alone gavrikov aswell..

I like your little description though lol, makes it sound like this trade allows for us to possibly get bedard , fantilli etc but clearly we're already headed that way without loosing our best center, captain, signed to a team friendly contract, who plays over 20min TOI and leads this team in every possible way (except total points)

Similar yes. But to me, Foudy is the Avs only untouchable AHL forward. I know the numbers don't show it, but if you watched him earlier this year when he was up in the NHL, he looked like he belonged -- just needs to get a little stronger, more consistent and have game sense. All of that will come. The kid's only 20. a
