one of my buddys brothers works for the leafs and recently told my buddy to watch the capitals very closely. he said there is a big trade brewing between the leafs and capitals that will shock many many fans. also said that kerfoot and holl are as good as gone and that niemela has fallen out of favor and will be traded while his value is high. he said he wouldnt say names but it is a big bruiser from toronto that cheered for the leafs growing up. if you dont believe me just wait until the trade dead line and come back to this

My Aunt's, Stepfather's Brother says the leafs arnt even talking to anyone from Washington because Dubas says they smell like cheetos. I dont buy this at all

someone on here literally predicted both ROR and Accari like 2 months before the trade happened

Murray is returning soon, so there's something that isn't accurate here. I do see both Holl and Kerfoot getting shipped out. It would have to be Wilson+Jensen coming in from WSH. Wilson's contract would be problematic for the Leafs next season though. There's also the fact that WSH is still trying to make the playoffs. So, maybe it's another big bruiser who cheared for Toronto if there's any truth to this.

I dunno, those firsts could be good ones if Matthews is traded and the Leafs spiral out of control. They only have Tavares, Marner, Jarnkrok and Rielly signed for 2024-25. If they take another loss in the first round this year it's gonna get uglyyyyy.

None of this makes sense - which may be your point in posting this nonsense - but most absurd is that the Leaf’s have soured on a 21st old, high ceiling RHD prospect? Really? They were uber patient with Liligren and it’s paying off big time - he looks great. Niemela will be with Marlies next year, spend 24-25 as occasional call up and then become a fixture in Leafs top 4 from then on.

Only thing that seems plausible is Brandon Tanev for Alex Kerfoot in terms of cap lol. My conclusion is that Dubas about to overpay for Soucy+B Tanev by trading Kerfoot+Holl+Niemela (+2 1st)

Looks like we need to be keeping an eye on Seattle, Washington.
