Could be worse - he went from a playoff team in TB to a lottery team in San Jose. He might be in Winnipeg, but at least he'll be playing meaningful games down the stretch and probably get some playoff hockey going too.

If thats true Armstrong should be fired as 2 1sts + Bjornfoot (former 1st draft) for Chycrun = Would have been good

As he basically would have got 3 1sts

Now its one 1st and 2 2nds

I would suggest it’s possible, if not likely, Bill Armstrong is only there because he is a scouting/development God, and he probably has little to no say on the actual team’s composition.

I doubt he had any authority whatsoever in the Chychrun deal.
