Severson and Raanta seem overpaid here, and I think Buffalo might be better off saving the money for Dahlin and other extensions. Washington has no good place for Jokiharju with Carlson and Jensen extended, and Buffalo could also save money by keeping Jokiharju and not signing Severson.

Curious about the Jokiharju trade. How is his defence? I notice he doesn't seem to produce that many points. Is he primarily a stay-at-home D or has he just been pushed down the depth chart by the young guys?

I'd rather give top 6 minutes to guys like Evangelista and Tomasino rather than paying a 3rd for Olofsson

Jarmo isn't gonna go from not even listening to trade calls on Boone at the TDL to trading him during the off season. It will take a healthy roster having a terrible year for him to be on the trading block next spring. Even then he's probably not the first guy that gets moved in an effort to retool the team.
