I don't agree with Jets fans about Dvorak or Anderson. WPG is a tough market to attract players, they should consider any top 9 player they can get their hands on.

If PLD rumors about MTL are true, the situation is the same as Trouba in 2019. I expect the return to be similar as both are top end talent playing critical positions (1C vs 1RD).

WPG had their chance at a Dach+ for PLD trade last summer. Now that Dach proved he is a legit top 6 player, MTL will keep him. FLA 1st and Barron/Beck is more likely.

You are correct that it’s essentially the same situation as Trouba as he would only sign with the Rangers. We got a 1st and a young top 4 player at the same position(Pionk), so my ask of Florida’s 1st + Dach would be equivalent.

But the 2023 FLA 1st, if top 16, is worth more than the 2019 20OA 1st you got for Trouba. That's why i think adding one of Barron or Beck would be enough.
