Im not crazy about the Detroit trade but it would get Fabbris contract gone and we could flip backlund at the deadline and recoup the pick.

Dallas and Colorado can't afford those trades. They're tight against the cap with extensions kicking in.

The only way that this works for the Kings is if you swap Walker for Bjornfot and give us an extension on Hanifin. (One of the primary reasons why we would want Hanifin isn't just that we need a TOP left-handed defenseman; we need a NUMBER of left-handed defensemen, so including Bjornfot in a Hanifin trade is two steps forward and one step back.)

Flames could retain 50% of both contracts in this scenario

Not worth it for CGY, they could get a pick as Fabbri isn’t a need

Calgary probably doesn’t value Walker so trade wouldn’t work imo

But why would they? There are a lot of options for teams looking for those players. If Calgary is trading them, their looking for cap space.

I could see the Canes making the move for Vladar. That being said, I’m pretty sure the Canes try to get the price down a bit.

I don't know how Colorado would feel about that, but they probably decline.

It’s pretty fair tbh, not sure waddell would be interested considering he only makes deals when it’s a full on fleece lmfaooo

They’re looking for assets, they have $10M in space and will have even more flexibility the following year

The Flames are not in need of a rebuild. The New York Rangers are probably much closer to needing a rebuild than Calgary

I recommend sticking to your own Team, as you clearly have no idea when it comes to the Flames, their Players or Future Plans

Avs decline. Cap wise it's a no brainer and they won't want to give up that '23 first for anything other than a deal they can't turn down.
