I think the Avs would have to accept that offer even if it doesn't give them what they ideally need. A kid line of Newhook- Sillinger-Chinakhov wouldn't look too shabby with Ceulemans to replace EJ in the not too distant future. I also don't think Columbus would make the offer, they'd be more likely to give up the '23 1st imo than those 3 players combined and I don't think they'd do that either (Look at it this way for simplicity....12th, 21st, 25th vs 2nd as it stands, 3 probable solid NHLers v 1 and 1 guy doesn't make a team). Which would personally suit me fine as well, as Carlsson between Landeskog (once he returns) and Nichushkin would be a dream.

There is no way Columbus gives up all that for Girard. One of those guys and the LAK 1st would be the max.

Seeing as Columbus is my 2nd team behind Detroit I would be PISSSSSED if they gave up their 1st for Hayes (I don’t even want them to trade door Hayes at all but definitely see it happening)

Gonna be very interesting what the price is considering it probably will be Columbus. Will also probably be Danny B's first big trade. Excited but nervous to see what happens.

I just don’t see them giving up a top 4 pick for Hayes. If Philly gets a 1st it will be the LA pick (which I still wouldn’t like as I don’t want Hayes at all) there is no way they give up fantillo carlsson or mitchkov for a 30 year old center who just hit 50 points for the first time this year

Nah I was joking with that, just misread it when I first saw this trade. 😂 That would be absolutely ridiculous, I honestly highly doubt we even get a 1st for Hayes. I would probably bet on a 2nd and some type of prospect or younger player. As a Flyers fan I would honestly take almost anything for him because I also absolutely hate Hayes as a player. You could probably imagine how hyped I was when I saw the rumors lol
