Trading Norris just makes absolutely no sense. He's a good two way C with elite finishing ability on a comfortable contract, you don't just give that up. The whole story of this season for Ottawa is that they can't afford not to have Josh Norris. Him being gone basically ruined the effectiveness of the 2nd, 3rd and 4th lines with all of their Cs behind Stützle playing a level above where they should be.

There is no chance any NHL GM sitting in the Sens GM chair turns this deal down from Detroit. There is also no need for Detroit to make this or take this offer. I mean, it's bad enough that Raymond, Cossa, are effectively 3 high 1sts, but you throw in a low 1st and a 2nd?! Take the players out of the equation, and make it 4 1st round picks. Norris and Debrincat are not going for 4 1st round picks, plus.
