I think Foote being worth more than twice as much as Carrier is my favourite part.

Lol you think you're getting 4 first round picks from Detroit, and DeBrincat for Forsberg?!

Please stop making horrible trades for the Wings. You evaluations of talent is way off. Wings in a rebuild and you set them back years. My god that trade is bad. You give up 4 1st for older more expensive players. Saros I good but older, Josi is very good but is 32 and signed for 6 more years and you pretty much handcuffed there cup to sign guys like Seider and Raymond.

Do you really see a trade like that going through? Or are you just trying to get everybody all worked up?

I don't think Yzerman is going to do that but I would do it. He hasn't been here the whole time, he was over in Tampa. But as a fan I've had to watch the Red Wings miss the playoffs for 7 years and not win a round for 10. I think he continues a slow rebuild and it's going to take another 10 or 15 years to win a Stanley Cup.

They do not, so what's the real reason you are trading him

But if these trades go through maybe we make it to the 2nd round maybe. Then we are further away than we are now. 25 years in the playoffs 25 years of buying at the TDL is why it is taking this long. The way you are proposing doesn't get it done at all let alone sooner.

I wanted to add we'd be a lot closer if we had just a little lottery luck.
Detroit's 1st round picks after the lottery and how many spots they fell back since their last playoff appearance.

2017 9th -2
2018 6th -1
2019 6th -2
2020 4th -3
2021 6th 0
2022 8th 0

So besides being the worst team over that span they haven't had a top 3 pick and only 1 inside the top 5. In the 6 draft lotteries they've participated in they have moved back 8 spots. It sucks but there is nothing you can do about it. Detroit was in the wild card hunt past the TDL this season and that's despite losing 2 forwards out of their top 6.

The link below are team stats for every team since Detroit's last playoff appearance.

Stanley Cup

God. Because those 4 guys obviously have brought the Stanley Cup to Nashville, obviously they'll do the same with Detroit. Obviously.

It's like you're unaware that Nashville also didn't make the playoffs let alone win the cup ever with those 4 guys. Or your just a troll.
