Pearson is LTIRetired, so there is no sense in attaching assets to him to get a worse player, with a bad cap hit, with term

First is on wrong side of the gally trade lol he has one of the worst contracts in the league and in no world is he not worth atleast 1st let alone a 1st to dump

I personally don't think the Caps will move Mantha this summer. Underlying numbers said he was good but unlucky at the start of the year, then Lavi crushed his confidence in the second half. He's started seeing a sports psychologist and the Caps will have a new coach next year, so might as well give him one last chance instead of selling him at his lowest possible value.

That said, if they do move him it's to create room for a forward upgrade. Trading him with 2M retention for a 3.5M LD they don't need doesn't accomplish that.

When is this 2030/2031?

Mitchkov isn't even available until the 2026/2027 NHL season.

And that offer isn't even in the ballpark for Pierre-Luc Dubpois.

And sorry but Gallagher isn't returning no 1st round pick.

The Jets aren't adding a 3rd to Dubois for that if thats the best they can do for him, also don't see Harris as part of a Dubois trade as the Jets are bursting at the seams with Harris type LHD.
