Each trades are not bad per say, but 7 of them? Involving at least 10 roster players and 17 draft picks?
You seem to have gone for realism, and I highly doubt Trotz will be that much active in his 1st offseason. I might be wrong though.

You are right Smashville roster needs to freshen up ASAP.

That's very fair, I have done quite a few of these today out of boredom and I wanted to see how different I could make the roster while still improving it semi-realistically as well as maintaining or improving draft picks.

Taking on campbells contract for a 2nd and 7th? Why would nashville tie up nearly 4 million in buried contract for such a paltry return?

Most of this seems like deck chair shuffling and bringing up the young players? I see most of it as unnecessary.

I wouldnt mind bertuzzi though. But knocking Parssinen out of the lineup for compher is a nogo for me.

Ottawa's not getting enough value for Sogaard and the 2nd.

Ottawa declines.

Kings hang up the phone mid sentence. Kings wont take on an extra 4m in cap with the cap crunch they are currently in.

Not really an upgrade for Habs, why would they add a 3rd?

Welcome to CapFriendly. Sometimes, it's not too friendly.

Kings can't afford any non-LhD or non-goalie transaction to be cap-positive, let alone cap-positive by almost $4 million.

I don't know how Trotz will do it. Seems like NAS will have great depth for a long time, but I think the lack of top end offense will prohibit them from going deeper in the playoffs.
Maybe making a splash trade would be better than moving minor parts ? I know that's not how Poile did business, but maybe Trotz does it differently?

I don’t even know what to say about the Martinook trade. A trade that doesn’t make sense for either side, and the Canes are getting more value. The canes probably wouldn’t trade MartyNooks

I could see the Habs having an interest in Fabbro. Not sure they'd be willing to add to Kovacevic, who's been a pretty good fit and has a superb contract for his role though.
But close enough to keep the discussion going.

That's fair, in hindsight I'd rather him than Trevor Moore with that contract.

As long as Duchene and Forsberg stay healthy we have two top end offensive players imo and there's also the hope that Novak and Evangelista can bring what they did this year into next year. Plus we've got Kemell coming up through the system who will in my opinion also be able to fit that role.
