Devils decline. Sharangovich is definitely worth more than Hoglander. Yegor may not be in the lineup every night, but Hoglander spent 45 games in Abbotsford and the Canucks don't have half the forward depth the Devils do.

Why do people think that the Sharks would move Ferraro? Hes young, on a good deal and playing well. Makes no sense. Hes a core player you build around, not someone you trade for a pick with a 10% chance of being better than him

Hes not playing well........ and the sharks got offers on him at the deadline but want a first to move him, but I would definitely consider this because we have Shakir Thrun Kniazev Knyzhov and Pulli that all could be as good as Ferraro within the next two seasons. It would be a huge loss for the room tho

He had one down year. Not worth giving up on him for a pick in the 50s, maybe 40s.

I would think the Hawks might take Myers without the retention after you pay his bonus this Summer for a '24 or '25 3rd as he will only be owed 1 million at that point. He is not what he was, but I would think you could flip Myers with retention for maybe a 2nd at the deadline. The only issue becomes to many RHD getting stacked up for the Hawks.

Hawks decline. With Jones and Murphy on the right side, they don't need Myers. If they did trade for Myers they don't need the retention - they'd rather have a higher pick. And I doubt that late 3rd rounder makes the deal work w/ retention.

Well sure he’s a good defencemen but not to mention granato would make that trade because she’s his step mom so it would be a family affair lol

You could just bury him, or keep him in the press box, and you get a pick out of it. You don't necessarily have to play him.

I think a 3rd is fine

"Yegor is good... but not good enough to crack our lineup..."

So.. which is it?

Most of these look good. Maybe a little more to SJ.

Because he's been regressing. I think a team still might bite on him for a second (myself included), but if he keeps going down so will his value. I don't think the Sharks have to panic, but it's not looking all that good.

Or the Canucks could just make the much smarter move and wait until July 1st, pay his signing bonus, and then move him to AZ or Buffalo or another team that might want him and keep your 3rd. Hawks will be making acquisitions that benefit them the most. There will be better deals available to them than a late 3rd.

You literally have him as your 2C on this roster? All I'm saying is that the Devils would not be the ones adding here.

As a stop gap with sheltered roles before Raty can take the spot.

Great, still worth more than Hoglander. Devils decline.

Having "might want him" and "Myers" in the same conversation is wild

This is actually a lot more than a lot of Devils fans moving Yegor for close to nothing.

Hoglander has a lot of upside, he's just mismanaged by the Canucks. I'm moving him for a Canucks need, which is in the middle.
I honestly don't think the value is that far off lol.

I think you could get AZ to take him for futures after the bonus is paid. He's still a vet even if not that good. AZ is young and looking for cheap cap. Seems like a fit

If they could afford to pay him, probably

Enough of the bickering with the Chicago Jesuits. Anaheim, who right now have the rehabbing youngster Jamie Drysdale and no one else on the right, will take Myers off Vancouver's hands, after his bonus is paid, for that Toronto third-rounder AND give you their 2024 sixth back.

It doesn't get much cheaper than $1M a season.

Blues can’t afford ROR take on Garland. I know you said anywhere. But for the sake of it being to the Blues just thought I’d mention that. I like Garland. I don’t like him at that AAV and term though.

We’d have to move a d man out for a much cheaper option if Garland is acquired, and frankly wing is the one position where we probably don’t do much of a shakeup unless it’s at this deadline. I could also see moving out Saad for a center to move Buch back to the wing.
