Anaheim isn't accepting cap dumps without a serious incentive, and an over-the-horizon third and a prospect who looks unlikely to stick in the NHL isn't a sufficient incentive. Just buy Granlund out.

I recognize that Hextall largely screwed the team over with a lot of his acquisitions, but I cannot see a scenario where Anaheim takes Granlund off your hands for you. Try Chicago, they need warm bodies for a few years.

Penguins absolutely decline the Isles trade. They need win now pieces and trading Jake makes zero sense.
