Description
Bold assumption on my part re: Detroit Trade, but whatever. Anyone who'll take those three can have them for just about anything. Those players are all still fine in their roles, but PIT needs to overhaul and needs cap space to do it.

Bruins say yes very quickly, although personally I'd like to see Rutta come back to us in the deal. Make the third a 6th rounder or something like that to make it work, but we could use the RHD depth.

Sidebar: Would you just take Rutta straight up for like a mid/late round pick?

if we were under the same managemnt this would be what they would do lol... no first or second round picks in the next 3 years and only 4 picks in the first 4 rounds for the next 3 years

I think so, the Bruins are in cap hell so we'd have to shed salary first but Rutta as a third pair veteran would be huge considering we're very likely gonna have to play a younger, inexperienced guy on the left side.

Word, I appreciate the response. Might have to use that trade in a future ACGM.

Exactly, two late seconds isn't worth taking all that salary.

So penguins do 3 cap Dumps to Detroit with no first or pickering going the other way. This is a pass all day, wings want 0 of these players let alone all of them.

I'll do for arguments sake Petry + 14 for 17. Pens move back 3 spots to get rid of Petry contract

I'd accept that without taking enough time to breathe.
