Sheary had more points than Little last year and you think Pens need to give up him plus a 1st, 2nd, and MAF?

How about Fleury and Sheary for Greiss, Beauvillier, +pick/prospect from the Isles?
Salary reduction and cost control in Beauvillier for a couple of years, where Sheary is due for a decent raise soon.
#1 goaltender and offensive winger to play with Tavares to the Isles.

-Because he was on Crosby's line.
    -He's WPG's 2nd line center.
-MAF would push back WPG's younger goalies a few years.

Little is not worth all that! Come on guys. I like Little but let's take a chill pill. This isn't a knock on Little but Pittsburgh is giving way too much value back for a soon to be UFA.

That's an interesting possibility, but not a realistic one:
-PIT fans don't like Greiss due to his comments about us as fans.
-GMJR rarely trades within the division.
-And while Beauvillier is a good enough player, he wouldn't fill the need for a 3C or 2LW.

On CapFriendly, its better to overpay on a trade, than underpay. You get ripped if you do haha.

MAF has only waived his NMC for the expansion draft. HIs NMC would still be in effect. MAF might have a very select he would be willing to be traded to. And he may not want his new team to be weakened by a trade.
Just for cap reasons, the trade might be Fleury traded to team of his choice for a 7th rounder. Pens don't like it? Buy MAF out or carry 9.5m in goalie cap hit next year.

I'd be willing to bet that Fleury would go just about anywhere (besides dumps like ARI COL etc) to be a starter again.

Just out of curiosity, what about Fleury's actions, his willingness to waive his NMC and the way he's worked with management so far would suggest to you that he would intentionally try to be difficult with any trade negotiations.

Winnipeg is a fringe team that could be a playoff team with a change in net. I doubt Fleury would have an issue going there, if needed. It's not like Winnipeg is Arizona.

Let's say this does happen... Most GM's would never deal with McPhee again and many players would not want to be there. Fleury's family already looked at schools, put house up for sale, and is moving... Would indicate there is handshake deal already done between the managers. Would burn so many bridges if something like this went down and his not worth it to Vegas.

NMC does not prevent a trade. He can list 18 teams he is willing to be traded to per his modified NTC.
You'd have to think he would list 18 teams most in need of a starting goaltender, and that one of those teams would be willing to make a trade for him.
He'll get more than a 7th round pick and Pittsburgh's goal will be to reduce cap space, so the likely return will be prospects/picks and/or a player on a cap friendly deal with term.
