A lot going on here and it is different. Unfortunately neither team does trades 1 and 3, and the Jets don't touch the rest.

Detroit trade value seems fair, just don't think it's a trade they'd do. I doubt Edvinsson is going anywhere, and Soderblom is unlikely too

He is being given away here. Compher is a UFA, NewJost is a bust, and LOC is a dime a dozen player... for a 2C who just scored 42 goals and making $3m after retention. Avs take it and run.

Sabers trade won't work according to the CBA you can't do conditional pick based on signings. That why so many teams are getting stung when trading rentals

WHAT ASSET? Compher is a UFA.... LOC is a 4th line winger that is easily replaceable via UFA ... and Newhook is bordering on bust territory, not good enough for top6 and not built to play bottom 6.. you're nuts if you don't think the Avs send a private jet to pick up Scheifele on this trade.

Avs get a bonafide 2C who just scored 42 goals for nothing and only making 3 mill. Easy cup run.

Newhook isn't even close to bust territory and trading out the guy you're looking to build into your future 2C for a guy with a questionable attitude at best is not a smart move.
