Off-puck shooter. Not a dynamic puck carrier or skater but serviceable in all other areas. Good at making space in the zone for teammates and getting shots off in the middle of the ice. Hasn't had a chance to succeed here because of nonexistent center depth and coaching.

CBJ just have a complete jam at wings, especially so given guys who are now pushing for full time (Chinakov, Marchenko and Texier) and a coaching staff (maybe gone) that has a 4th line with a very specific playstyle that he doesn't mesh with.

As pocke notes he's a servicable guy but he's also one of those just wait until he puts everything together guys that never puts everything together. Covid/injuries/FO things have screwed up his development but he's going on his draft year +6 this summer. At this point he is who he is and that's a 3rd line guy on most teams.

was a powerplay specialist in sweden. came over here and was forced to be a checking forward, both by bad coaching but also not converting enough with his chances. He had the Ovi's office spot for our PP for his rookie year until we got Laine, and he only scored 5 pp goal. horribly mismanaged career, underperformed, but he still gives his best efforts.

fun fact, in the 20-21 season he only played 20 games and scored 3 goals. All 3 came in the same game
