Description
Corey Sznajder joked on Twitter after Trotz to Nashville was reported: “Trotz and Lou are about to have the most intense trade negotiation for Casey Cizikas.”

Well, what if, instead, Barry throws Lou a bone and takes on a few bad contracts in exchange for “identity” and draft picks? The 2023 picks (2, 4, 7) cover the cap dumps, and the two firsts (2024, 2025) are for Fabbro.

This is nuts and would never happen, but I don’t think anyone saw the Romanov deal coming either!

After Lou fired Barry, I think any avenue to a deal between NSH and NYI is dead regardless of what fantasy land exists.

Oh yeah. I really like the idea of keeping fabbro in nashville as he is our youngest nhl dman and i think people forget about that but for that ill take your capdumps and give you fabbro

I think it's the $8M+ in cap dumps that's commanding the 1sts. The other picks feel like fair value for Fabbro.

those salary cap players you are mentioning all have 1 year left. We can hold on to them for 1 more year, clear that salary and keep the 1st rounders.
