Those picks are all going to land later than 20th overall imo, so the Canucks would obviously decline. Not enough quality assets going their way in exchange for a legit #1 defenseman.

Hughes was a +15 playing with a collective of Schenn, Bear, and Myers I think they'd be okay

There you go. From my perspective Hughes is one of the most unique and valuable players in the league. Barzal, Dobson and 1st and I'm not sure i do it.

Everyone always does the brothers thing. Reality is the Hughes bros are too good to all be on the same team and all get paid.

If they have 10+ mil in cap space in 27-28 they'll have a chance. Might even need more like 11-12 or more by then.

Well considering Karlsson put up over 100 points and was still -26 I don't think he's anywhere close to "Erik Karlsson Style".
