For what reason? to address needs at 3c and defence. This would help the defence. And save a mil in cap space.

I'd rather not trade Hoglander with Garland because he is the guy who we'll look to take Garland's spot if we trade him. Garland for Pettersson is a great base as far as im concerned though.

MP is criminally underrated. With how much people complain about Letang and Petry's defensive abilities (also vastly overstated) you would think they would love the best defender on the team (plus like 2 weeks ago VAN was rumored to trade Garland as a cap dump lol)

Wasn't long ago that MP was considered a cap dump either. Both MP and Garland are undervalued.
