Beherns doesn't work for the Jets. They are deep on the Left side. Who else you got? Also, if they remaining 50% that pick is going to have to be much higher.

Canes pass. Girard doesn’t hold that kind of value, especially to the Canes

I disagree. I would be shocked to get more then a 3rd with 50% retained. If this is the offer, the Jets wouldn't care if he is a LD or RD. If this was offered they would take it.

I don't know about that. I think if they move Scheifele or Dubois his contract doesn't hurt for one more year. He still produced 55 pts in 72 games. Hell the guy played a game with a cracked nut. I'd keep him if they couldn't get more. I actually think that Wheeler will retire a Jet. At a much less salary of course.

Hurricanes have more than enough defensemen and Necas means a lot to the Canes
