For one year and no retention O could see Wings giving up the Islander pick, but highly doubt Wings give up the 9OA pick for Lindholm for one year.

Value probably isn't unfair on the Wings trade for thr player

But Detroit isn't in the spot to be giving up top 10 picks for what is likely a rental player
