I'll gladly take bailey for the pick but the wings haven't been real active in using the cap to add a lot of picks.

23yr old 6'4 RHD that has back to back 13 goal 50 pt seasons and will be team controlled for another 4years. I'd say that's pretty damn valuable.

Relies on the powerplay for almost half his points and horrible in his own defensive zone as well

Okay and so does the older small winger. He's getting traded for here.

By relying on the pp and Patrik Kane. You can't use that argument against Dobson and then deny the same thing for debrincat lmao. News flash, PP points are still valuable and special teams typically wins games.

Dobson probably wouldn’t even be on PP1 on that Ottawa team…they would be better off trying to trade DeBrincat for Kandre Miller who better defensively and same amount of points with no PP time

One of the better offensive defenseman in the NHL at 23 YO. Would be the 2nd best D on the rangers by a long shot

Lmao ya crazy! Dobson barely had more points when Kandre didn’t play powerplay and he’s way better defensively and way better skater lol

Dobson had more primary points than Miller at even strength despite miller getting 250 min more TOI. Miller had a ton of secondary assists which is the least repeatable stat out there.

Miller doesn’t create for his teammates, he benefits from playing with multiple star forwards. Dobson is one of the better chance generators in the NHL among defenseman.

Miller is the definition of mid

Nope, he’s a top pair caliber RHD who generates offense at a high level with an elite penalty differential

Points are points lol and they’re defensemen. Their first job is to be good at defense which Dobson couldn’t do to save his life

Primary points are much more indicative of true offensive impact. There’s no way you’re gassing up a secondary assist merchant.

Dobson provides significantly more value than Miller. You can find players like K’andre Miller in free agency for cheap.

Lmaooooo you islander fans are some thing else 😂 I’m sure you also think Horvat at $8.5m is a steal

As a Devils fan, pains me to say, I’d say Miller by a nose over Dobson. K’Andre’s puck-moving ability is a bit underrated. And he has seemed to have cleaned up the mistakes which haunted him in juniors and college.

As for Cat vs Dobson, I think most teams probably lean DeBrincat…but it really depends on team needs.

I guess it’s different because rangers don’t need points from their defensemen since they have fox and islanders need Dobson to score a lot to help their offense. But that said, I am taking Kandre 10/10 times especially for a guy who only started playing the position since college lol

Obviously you’d Take miller, you’re biased. Points are not the only way to evaluate offensive impact. Dobson is the better puck mover, shooter, passer . There is nothing Miller does better to move the puck up the ice.
