As an outside perspective this looks pretty fair, seems both sides benefit in most deals, I can see Nashville having some contention to giving up this years first because of how loaded the draft is, and I think the Flyers are pretty high on cates and likely aren't interested in moving him for Garland.

As a Preds fan i'd be willing to give up the 1st for the right player. Miller isn't the guy I'd do it for though, and I want no part of his contract. It's an easy pass for NSH.

I think its just people who don't watch any flyers game don't see how incredibly impactful he is, his stats show him being a solid middle 6 forward, just under0.5 point per game. I can see why people might think he doesn't have a lot of value.

Just based on how valuable hes been to them over what was a bad season for most of the team and how young he is, probably not looking to trade him unless their getting back a first rounder in this draft
