Likely something to do with the Hayes rumours. Maybe making it a bigger deal with another Flyers player and getting a 3rd team to retain on said Flyers 2nd player.

The Flyers should be getting a first or something good for taking on Peterson contract and giving up Provy. Hopefully Danny didn't get robbed and screw the Flyers over like Chucky Two Trades.

I'm surprised if this is true and they got Petersen to not put Philly on his no trade list given their rebuilding status. Do we know when trades are officially open? I always thought it was when the nhl draft starts but I've never been sure
