Can assure you Buffalo just keeps Levi if all they're getting is buncha mediocre crap and a pick they don't even know the number of yet.

***MTL 2024 1ST ROUND PICK IS TOP 10 PROTECTED***

OPTION 1

If MTL selects 1-10 in the 2024 NHL Entry Draft, MTL keeps 2024 1st round pick. MTL swaps 2025 1st round picks (MTL & CGY).

SUB OPTION 1

BUF receives the highest pick if both MTL & CGY don't make the 2025 NHL playoffs. MTL receives the highest pick vice-versa.

SUB OPTION 2

BUF receives the highest pick if CGY makes the playoffs and MTL doesn't make the 2025 NHL playoffs. MTL receives the highest pick vice-versa.

OPTION 2

If MTL selects 11-32 in the 2024 NHL Entry Draft, BUF receives MTL's 2024 1st round pick. MTL keeps both 2025 1st round picks (MTL & CGY).

Dude, it's a horrible trade for BUF and SJ, and these notes don't make it any better...........

LOL @ how it's always some other team giving up an early pick so Montreal can steal a top goalie / goalie prospect from someone.

Oh wait, that pick is actually going to Montreal making the trade even worse!

Buffalo tells Montreal to go pound sand.

Buffalo and San Jose have no reason to do any of this.

Why is San Jose dropping 27 spots in the draft to only pick up Levi? He ain’t worth that much come on now

SJ says no.

SJ is about to draft a franchise altering player. You have to give them a franchise altering player in return. That means Montreal would have to give them something like Slafkovsky, and that might only be a "starting point".

You're reading it wrong it's worse than that Levi is going to Montreal. The OP obviously hasn't figured out how to change which team a player is going to in a multi team trade yet so he's just moving him again when trade machine has him going to the wrong team.
