Clarke and Vilardi for Hellebuyck isn't happening.

Hellebuyck wants 8 x $10,000,000 on his next contract, Sorry LA can't afford him. Nor is LA even close to a cup contender even with Hellebuyck.

Sorry once again, Neal Pionk isn't who Detroit would be targeting if Chevy has a selloff, Would imagine that Yzerman would target homeboy Connor Hellebuyck and try and convince him to sign long term. He still should have about 11 more seasons until retirement Detroit could easily win a cup in that time frame. If he's willing to go to LA or NJ no gurantees he'd win a cup with them anymore than Detroit.

This might be the worst trade I've seen on here for Helle to LA. That's god awful! Clarke and Vilardi are going no where as they are the building blocks of the core going forward. And a 30 year one goalie with 1 year left @ $6m doesn't fit in the LA cap. Mark my words but in 3 years time Helle will have a top 5 worst contract in the league on his next deal.
