Kings are already looking at dumping Arvidsson or Iafallo for cap space. They don’t need to add an even higher cap player in Rust who’s locked behind a NMC, if he’d even waive.

No interest in Poulin either.

The Rust trade isn't good. Neither is the MTL trade.

Yeah Bryan Rust signs for 6 x $5,125,000 with Pittsburgh with a NMC, And he's going to waive it to be 2,400 miles from home. We don't think so you're stuck with him.

Jeff Carter isn't waiving for Montreal, he's not wasting his time on any bottom feeder team.

Why on earth would MTL do that? Our GM already said Anderson alone is going to cost a 1st+

Well that's what Dubas did in Toronto... From Andersen/Campbell to Samsonov/Murray

Ugly for LA! The Kings don't need or can't afford Rust. I'd take a flyer on Poulin but for like a 4th or a prospect swap like Madden

Your UFAs are decent - although I think slight overpays on Mayfield and Bunting.

The trades though........ the trades. Why in the world are we dumping Rust to trade for Anderson and giving Blackwood 4mil AAV? Plus all the teams minus NJD probably deny the trades anywyays.

Anderson would help our 1st or 2nd line.
Trading away Granlund, Rutta, Carter, Rust and Poulin are guys that need to be traded in order to get better and faster.

Rust only shows himself in spurts. Rextall over paid for him when he’s not a consistent player.
Acquiring Mantha just helps with getting Anderson maybe not in the way I did it but someway the organizations can make it work. Mantha is wanted by Montreal and Pittsburgh wants Anderson.

Blackwood most likely will hit free agency and prolly won’t have to lose a 5th for him but I think Blackwood has potential to be the guy somewhere.

Idk what teams are gonna pay for some of the free agents but I strongly feel that those all could be guys they try a target.

Compher is fast not cheap but fast.

Mayfield and Hathaway bring all the toughness.

Bunting brings fast and gritty play an can play on the top 2 lines.

Anderson would be a downgrade on the 1st or 2nd line. And has an absolutely terrible contract. Nobody is saying you shouldn't trade Granlund or Carter. But WSH laughs at that deal and Carter has a full NMC so blocks that trade anyways. They don't need to trade Rust. What do you mean they need to trade Poulin? He hasn't even played in the NHL. If you don't want Rust, that's fine. But he has a full NMC, so good luck getting rid of him. And the Kings don't have the cap space even if he did waive. And if you're dumping Rust, at least replace him with a better player. you turned around and replaced him with a worse and more expensive player in Anderson.

Pittsburgh doesn't want Anderson lol.

Blackwood isn't good. Maybe as a backup for a mil or two.

Yeah, like I said, I'm okay with the UFAs. It's the trades where the problems are
