Description

Allow Greig another season in Belleville to really shore up his game (call him up if Drouin/Monahan arent working).

Drouin/Monahan are both high risk, high reward, but putting them both on one year deals at about 1mil/2mil each isnt AWFUL. Mittelstadt had success in Buffalo, and should be repeated playing in the middle six with Pinto/Batherson/Norris/Giroux. Oloffson could be traded or bounce back. Hamonic and Brannstrom return. Ilya Shuttzdorov is signed on a cheap deal (Shawn Simpson reported 4 days ago that the Sens are closing in on signing the KHL FA goalie). Forsberg returns, talbot walks obviously.

This is pretty unrealistic but LMK what u guys think!

I bet TBL would take back Joseph so they can move on from Killorn and re-sign Ross. CBJ would have no interest.

Okay, I keep seeing Mathieu Joseph and at first I look at his stats and contract and think, you know what that's not bad for a guy that is pretty defensively sound in the Bottom 6 group. But I feel like I keep missing something here.

What is so wrong with him that you couldn't get like a 4th rounder or something for him? Why is he always one step away from just being sent off for Future Considerations?

What possible reason would Buffalo have to add Debrincat? Adding another offensive forward with a $9M QO is not going to happen when they were a top 12 in offense and have several offensively-gifted forwards on the way.

The Jackets have Kuraly, Robinson, Texier, Sillinger, Foudy, Bemstrom, Olivier, Danforth, Voronkov, Chinakhov, and McKown for bottom 6 options already and they're all cheaper than Joseph. Definitely no interest there.
