Why do I get the feeling there was a forgotten question mark at the end of the title?

Liljigren is a good player, but not the kind of D Anaheim is short on. Jarnkrok makes even less sense for Anaheim.

This is a genuine question: Don't you think that Anaheim could use a veteran player like Jarnkrok to take some of the pressure off of all the young talent? Jarnkrok put up 20 goals and 19 assists last season on a very team-friendly contract. Isn't this the kind of exact guy the Ducks could use to insulate those inexperienced young players? If not, I'm curious what player out there you think would be better suited in that role.

That Marner trade is horrendous. The Parayko we'd be getting isn't the same player he was a few years ago, and paying a declining defenseman $6.5mil into his mid-to-late 30s seems like a recipe for a boat anchor contract.

If you're moving Marner (which you can) it better be an actual impact player coming back, not a 30 year old mid-tier defenseman.

Between that trade and the Graves and Killorn contracts, you've apparently decided the solution to this team's lack of playoff offense is getting slow as **** and paying a lot for overrated, big defensemen.

We don't really have any openings on the forward core next season is the problem. We got guys like Vatrano and Strome for that, still have Henrique for now, and then we still have McGinn and Silfverberg hanging around. The only real kids up front at this point are Zegras and McTavish, everyone else has been around long enough to know the game.

That's all you ever say. Marner would be the blues best player and it wouldn't even be close. Last season he would be 2nd in goals first in points, best PK forward, QB of the PP on the blues. The leafs get back a slow 30yr old d-man with 7yrs left on a terrible contract. Nope this is the worst trade for Marner on this site.

Muh huh. I didn't say anything about what the Leafs would do. And the fact that you think Parayko is slow proves beyond a shadow of doubt that you have zero clue what you're on about. But you go get all those wondrous Marner offers, good luck with that.

Btw just an FYI: Matthews has one 5v5 goal in four matchups against Parayko. Marner has two 5v5 points in four direct matchup games against Parayko, with a -5.

I think the blues would only trade Parayko with a RHD coming back ( a good one at that)
