No chance TB qualifies Blackwood or he signs here so this is Sherengovich for Colton and a 6 you're crazy Add Bahl Take out Blackwood make the 6 a 4

Sharks accept. Might as well send us Blackwood, too and we’ll throw in a 2025 4th.

Tampa declines fairly quickly. Colton will be in Tampa's top 6 moving ahead(as he is a top 6 talent), and Tampa can make 3.7 work if need be. The return here does little to make Tampa want to trade him.

Blackwood doesn’t interest me much, but Walsh does and I would easily do a 4th in 24 for him. Or trade a guy like Kaut for him.

A number of sports analysts are putting Colton's value at a 4th rounder so prepare to be disappointed when he's moved for something for around that. Fans always wildly over expect values in trades and there is almost no scenario where TB can afford to resign him at his ask

Tampa can also easily re-sign him at his fair market value(which us actually closer to 3 million than it is 4 or.more). There are literally dozens, if not more, agms that have Tampa keeping him as high as 3.75. This narrative from fans of other teams trying to lowball Tampa in offers for him because of some imaginary inability to re-sign him is quite comical, really.
