Take out the Necas and the 1st and the Hurricanes might talk... the Hurricanes are looking to make forward moves not lateral ones

I don't blame Calgary fans for asking, but Waddell wouldn't give up Necas for Lindholm. I'm not sure what get's it done, but we need to add to our top-6 core rather than swap out.

Canes fans are going to be triggered when Necas is traded for Lindholm. I, however, would be excited by this trade if Lindholm agreed to an extension.

Neither in this or any other universe is Los Angeles trading Quinton Byfield alone for Tyler Toffoli, even if Calgary were to add their 2023 first.
