Doubtful on the Backlund return but I saw a few posts like it from Avs fans.

CBJ's 2024 1st is protected

At least one of Backlund/Lindholm/Hanifin is 50% retained

Vladar traded somewhere for something (Hoglander in Vancouver? Heinola in Winnipeg? JBD in Ottawa?)

Tanev gets sold at the deadline assuming he's healthy, might move Kylington if his value is back up

Reunite Coleman and Goodrow so we have some NHL caliber PKers

if you want that return for backlund, which i think is unrealistic, the flames gotta retain half his salary. and a 24' 1st is more realistic than a 23'

Rather swap out sillinger for boqvist/peeke and 34 overall.

I said it was unrealistic in the description, I also said retention was a probably thing too on one of the 3 players. I made that trade based on posts from Avs fans

No thanks. Zero interest in Roslovic, he should not be part of trade discussions at all. Send him to Vancouver, they seem to be looking for middling players in that age range

He’s to make the salary work and you can flip him at the deadline similar to how beau was included in the horvat trade. Flames will need bodies with the mass exodus too

I like Backlund but I think any team giving up a really good prospect and a first for him would regret it

Probably need to drop the 2nd in the Columbus trade
Swap the 23 1st for a 24 1st in the Backlund trade
I really like the Rangers trade
I like the idea for that Panthers trade if they can rebuild

Montreal can beat that offer for Toffoli with a FLA 1st, 3rd and prospect. Cap dump like Hoffman. He'd be their best player and fit well with Caufield-Suzuki on top line as he did in the 2021 playoffs while injured.

Id do that Rangers trade, Id prob want to also include duehr in the trade and add Henrickson or another small piece to level it off.
