I actually dont mind the deal

People say Toronto needs more offense well it doesnt always have to be from forwards

Besides Reilly the Blue line really isnt offense generating

Regardless, it's a dumb signing, imo. We've got Rielly filling the only role that Klingberg is fit for. We just went through this with Barrie.

Feels like this takes us out of the running for Bertuzzi barring a trade. Maybe a guy like Fischer draws some interest from the Leafs

The thing I find funny. People say Leafs need more offense and just name forwards ABC

You know you can get offense from the Blue Line to right

Carolina knows that well they had 2 18 goal scorers

Last year our most productive blue liner was Liligren with 6 goals.

Pair him with one of Brodie, McCabe or Giordano who are more defensive orientated and he should do fine.
