I'm starting to think that with this cap crunch and us not getting rid of any of our plethora of NHL caliber players that we are going to risk waivers to a ton of players to open the season. Bemstrom/Foudy/Even Jack maybe/Olivier/Robinson all may pass thru waivers at some point this season. Blanks and Jiricek both may start in Cleveland if we don't ship out Bean and Peeke/Boqvist.

It’s a calculated risk, for sure. I have no issue starting guys in Cleveland (including Sillinger and Chinny) if they are waivers exempt. I wouldn’t be surprised if we see some trades with guys like Bems and Foudy thrown in.

And honestly losing any one of them isn’t the end of the world. The only one I would be slightly upset loosing is Olivier because he’s the only one that sticks up for his teammates and alittle part of me loves that meathead style. But even then I wouldn’t be that mad. Foudy would be bad too but unless he took another step this off-season I don’t expect him to stick around long term anyways.

I honestly don't think Roslovic will get any return at this point. Maybe if the Jackets retain salary on him they could get something. Seeing how teams are trying to bail out of all these contracts I just don't see it. Even the guys signed only a year. Hope I'm wrong. Like Yammamoto only had a year left on his contract at a lower cap hit. Detroit is buying him out, if there was a market for him they'd probably get something. I feel like it'll be similar for Roslovic
