Yeah. A little bit underwhelming if he’s a 3C expected to put up a 40+ point season. Brilliant defensively and most importantly a great penalty killer

As a Canuck fan... cant say this excites me, but it probably works out okay. Unless they do something else....he probably battles Dries for 3rd line center, with Aman on the 4th. I dont think any of their center prospects do much at the NHL level for another year.

I was hoping they could add some size or scoring for the 3rd line...this is neither, although he is an okay defensive center.

I'm not sure he's good enough to be our 3rd line centre and the contract is a little high for a 4th line centre.

4th line guy. Good Pk but nothing else. Basically Lazar. No term at least. Going to need Raty to make the leap this season.

Bro he plays 12 minutes a game against other 4th liners ... with these stats:

Goals For Percent = 39%
Shots For Percent = 40%
Corsi For Percent = 40%

The best defensive bottom 6 guys play 18 minutes and shut down top 6 lines.

They also have 50% or higher in all of the above stats.

Blueger is just getting caved in for 12 mins a night.

This has turned into an amazing signing. I don't think any Canucks fans should be upset with this deal. ... My only complaint it the term. I would love him signed for two or more years.
