Not a CBJ fan and don't know much about Robinson. Why get rid of him? Seems like a cheap winger with decent production. I'd take that over the uncertainty of a future 4th round pick any day. It's not like CBJ really needs the extra pick.

Im not even sure if I'd give a 3rd for him.

Too many bodies in the bottom 6 (same with the D depth). Most of the guys besides Olivier are either better now or are young guys with potential. Robinson being the odd guy out makes sense considering we know what he is.

People get upset with him because he can't finish on his breakaways to save his life...other than that he's a dependable 4th line who has speed, really underestimated forechecker/PK and part of the one thing that went right last year to the point our coach overused it (our 4th line was probably one of the most dependable in the league last year). Its like Gudbranson people get angry at him because they don't realize his role is for the team...Erob excels to be a nuisance to the other team and not straight scoring like a Laine/Johnny.

Considering Babcock keeps bringing him up in very positive terms, I don’t think Peeke is going anywhere. Deployed properly this season, likely partnered with Provorov, he may surprise a lot of people who can’t see past that -41 and think he’s pure garbage. I’m personally not a fan of him and wouldn’t miss him, but the team clearly values him a lot.

Of all the bottom 6 players who will be returning, the two I’d keep are Olivier (check) and Robinson. Olivier punches faces and actually brings some finishing ability and Robinson kills penalties and is the fastest skater on the team, exactly the kind of fourth liners contenders need. That Robinson-Kuraly-Olivier fourth line is just about the only part of the roster that doesn’t need fixed. Robinson and Foudy are redundant, and between the two, I choose Robinson.

Colorado strongly considers that. Probably counters with a 5th or 6th. But we do need a guy like Robinson. I'd love for him and Meyers to develop some chemistry on the 4th line.
