They need better top-4 D. Skjei is a significant upgrade over what they have. The point of my trade for Winnipeg is about Jarvis, though. That's the real golden ticket for a team that needs young stars.

That offer still doesn't cut it, Winnipeg doesn't need another LHD in Brady Skjei. Seth Jarvis is the best piece and he alone doesn't net you Kyle Connor. Plus Teravainen is a one year rental. Not enough to get Kyle Connor out of Winnipeg. And if Chevy were to move him. I'm pretty sure that Yzerman would offer up a better package than this to bring him home.

Connor is still young enough, while Jarvis isn't even a star yet (of course this trade doesn't happen if he was). They also just added Vilardi who is young, have Perfetti and Kupari who might be able to turn into something. WPG needs players, especially good ones, that want to play there more than anything, so unless Connor wants out they should keep him.

Yeah no, 1 year of Skjei/Teuvo + Jarvis isn't a good enough offer for 3 years of bargain price, star quality Connor imo. Let alone if you also want 1 year of Niederreiter, team controlled Samberg and a 2nd.

I'm a Canes fan. I posted the trade lmao! The whole reason why I did this is because Jarvis for Connor IMO makes so much sense for both teams.

Carolina would still need to add to that trade though. Like multiple other good pieces type of add.
