Not even close for Elias Pettersson slick, You'd actually need to give up pieces of extreme value to get him. Not a bunch of lesser pieces.

Dach and the 2 1st are the only decent pieces in the deal, As far as 2 top 4 Dmen that remains to be seen.

Dach best season so far is 39 points, Calling him a 70+ Centerman is a little premature right now.

If Dach is a 70 point player then Pettersson is a 150 point multi time Selke winner

3 mid 1st rounders, a recent top 10 pick in Gelinas, Jimmy Carson, who was the 2nd overall pick and just scored 55 goals + 50 assists as a 19 year old, and 15 million in cash

Where is all this Petterson trade nonsense coming from?
Until Petterson says he won’t sign or requests a trade Van could sit and wait for a kings ransom If I were Allvin the ask is pretty much double the return from the Eichel trade

He also got $20,000,000 in 1988 money for an owner in deep debt people don't add the owners most important factor in that trade

1. There's no guarantee that it will be a top 10 pick, Dach has never had more than 38 points in an NHL season, Harris and Baron are not top 4 defensemen (they may be some day but not yet), and a guy who hasn't played an NHL game yet can't be considered a middle six winger.

2. Gretzky got more than that, Gelinas and $15M more than that.

3. Why would Pettersson sign an offer sheet with Montreal? And why wouldn't Vancouver match the offer?

Do you think everyone else here is stupid?

Canucks easily decline. Would take a lot more quality and less quantity to convince them to part with their franchise centrepiece that they are building around.

70 point centre? He was barely a 70 point centre in the WHL. He has 97 career points
