I'm gonna make a list of the top 50 player ratings for NHL 24, goalies are included in this. I'll put the players ratings. Let me know what you guys think.

It’s a lot of goalies. McAvoy should be in top-50.

I’m old so humour me, are these video game ratings? Because I don’t want to live in a world where someone thinks Josi should be rated higher than Crosby.

Yeah, too many Gs for sho. Q Hughes is definitely too high. Same for EK. McAvoy is better than half the Ds you have listed. I think Scheif doesn't belong here.

Rielly I'd say probably 87 and Luke Hughes when they added him in April I think he was an 80. So Knies will probably start off as an 80 overall.

I wanna put Jack as a 93 but I know people will say he's had 1 good year and he's higher than Marner who's had more good years. They both got 99 points and I think both at 92 is fair. Marner is better defensively but Hughes is a better goal scorer, so that should cancel them out.

Connor, yeah maybe he is a little to high. Tkachuk though I think he's gonna be like his brother. He's only going to get better, especially since we see what Stutzle ( his center ) is starting to become.

Might be a lot of goalies, sure. Ovechkin has just been a consistent goal scorer his whole career. The lowest I would put him overall is 91 and that's still in the top 50. McAvoy I had as a 89 overall, which just missed the top 50.

I am a canes fan, and I would take Aho out for Buchnevich for sure. Eichel is worse than both of them. Nylander is debatable, and Hischier is a weird one I’m not sure one way or the other quite yet.

As a canes fan, Buch and Aho are like the same player just Buch has a higher scoring pace and can play all 3 forward positions. They are both really good penalty killers who can play at 1C and score at over a point per game pace. Buch is just a tiny bit better I think.
