I would not do it, that's for sure. No clue what Boston would say.

Mittelstadt had 59pts and can be a great playmaking 2C. Better than Zacha and Coyle. And Joki can at least fill the gap and be ok. Carlo is a solid defensive #4 guy , would be a good compliment to Power

Yeah, these deal sound fair. Mittelstadt could fill that 1c roll in Boston for now, and Buffalo need defense. Montreal trade Allen and answer the goalie problem (Comrie could go on waivers easily) and Buffalo get a reliable backup to let Levi rest and be more consistent

MTL would do this IMO
Allen would be a good mentor for Levi

MTL wants no part in any of that nonsense even in theory as a joke.
We are good on Forwards after Newhook we're happy
Its why the most common trade is us trying to dump Armia for Mantha in a deal with WSH

The logic behind the trades is good. But gotta think Bruins keep the the cost efficient Carlo especially with four years term. Bruins just might have "suck it up at centre" this year.

24yr old just coming into his own, similar stats last season to Suzuki, playing less minutes and PP. Could be a great second line centre keeping Dach on first line Newhook and possibly Slavkowsky accompany Mittlestadt

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I wouldn’t trade Josh Anderson for Mittelstadt
You only look at stats, he’s so soft as a player, we don’t need him & he’s mostly a LW than a Center

You’re delusional if you wouldn’t trade Anderson for Middelstadt.

Boston deal seems fair, but I don't think this is right time for that move. If Sabres fixed their defense, there is no need for that trade. If they did not, pay it to fix it.

MTL deal not so much. If Allen would have to be backup, you lose UPL as well, since he would have to go through waivers, and someone would pick him right away.

Mittelstadt has more value for sure, but MTL don’t need players like him. I also think he will be grossly overpaid on his next contract. Not trying to knock on Casey, he just isn’t the type of player MTL would build a core around
