I can't see Rasmussen being traded for that offer. Red Wings are pretty high on him. He's just coming into his own right now. I don't know why Toronto would want Chiarot?

I can't ever recall a GM trading a player he just signed before he plays a game.

"Oh hi Dave. Sure glad we signed you. Oh by the way, I just traded you to Detroit. Pack your $hit."

If last year was any indication it will be difficult to flip Klingberg for anything of value, Anaheim had a hell of a time moving him at last year’s TDL.
