    Ah yes, cant afford to sign Pinto so lets swap him out for an even bigger contract that definitely wont fit with a couple picks attached to it

    I love Pageau, but be serious lmao. He's like 8 years older and he makes twice what Pinto's projected contract is. If Ottawa can't afford to give Pinto a contract (they can make the space easily) how are they gonna afford Pageau at twice the freight? Critical thinking goes a long way

    SEA declines. Can't take the cap hit without moving more money out. Even though that is cheap for JPG, it isn't really a good deal for SEA considering what they would have to move out to get him.

    Hawks decline. They'll have plenty of 4th line options. Just put Johnston on waivers and cross your fingers that he gets claimed.
