Hmm, let's see. The top 6 is good, but not great. Top line will score a lot of goals, but will give up a lot too. 2nd line depends on AA and Johnson to have big years - that's no given. Bottom 6 is below average to bad. And there are 3 legit NHL D men on the roster. Unless they are all playing 30 min per night, that's far from a playoff caliber D. And your counting on Hart to win the Vezina? Cause he's gonna get pummeled with 35 to 40 shots every game.

Two good lines, 3 capable D and an iffy goalie doesn't scream playoff team to me.

I tried to give Seth Jones such a long leash but after watching him play this year I lost any and all remaining confidence I had in him as a top pair defenseman. I genuinely have no idea what he's doing half the time he's out there.

My favorite part is OP wants our two best players and does not relinquish their 1st (even tho hes trying to be a playoff team).
