No, but you're light. We don't view Jarnkrok as a value add and have absolutely zero reason to downgrade Drysdale into Liljigren. We have plenty of could be middle pairing guys, we need could be top pairing guys like Drysdale.

Why would we exchange our high 2020 first (who shows every sign of panning out if not actually becoming a top-pair RhD) for a low 2024 first plus two guys you're eager to get rid of for cap relief? Never mind the hilariously egregious second.

Dude. You are in no position to whine that Anaheim fans are overvaluing their contributions to this trade idea. This is a clownish "offer" that Anaheim would assume was a prank and disregard entirely.

I was wondering if there's any trade possible for Zegras without a top prospect involved. Would two or three 1st round pick be enough? How high would those 1st have to be?

No. Anaheim isn’t trying to rebuild for the next 4 years

I don't think there is. Redrafts of 2019 have Zegras going 3OA, you could maybe argue him down to 5th with Cozens breakout and maybe someone else, but even then, he's a guy who should have gone top 5, super skilled top 6 playmaker, and we already know what we have in him. At a minimum, there'd have to be a top 5 pick in the upcoming draft, plus extra on the grounds that were taking a risk and pushing back a main piece of our rebuild by 3-5 years depending on development time. We could consider something around Dach viewing him as a RWer which we are short on, a top 6 RW squad of Terry and Dach wouldn't be bad going forward. There's the appeal of Slaf, but how do you trade out an organizations first 1OA pick before you know what he is. The last piece we'd potentially be interested in is Reinbacher, but I understand MTL is very light at RHD.

Personally I don’t see it as a downgrade, I see it as more Cap control for Toronto but that being said this is a pretty underwhelming offer in all honesty, Though I don’t truly know how safe Jamie’s job is in Anaheim with a ton of D prospects like Hinds, Luneau, Mintyukov, Zellweger all looking like they will be in the show sooner than later. But if you truly think he’s a 1D then fair enough, tbh I mostly did this to piss other fans off because they’ll just call me dumb for being a Leafs fan, though I appreciate you talking to me respectfully & giving your opinion without needing to be insulting

Every sign of panning out?, his labrum says otherwise & so does your prospect pool, you have 0 idea how that injury will impact his mechanics but the real question is If you really think he’s great & a potential 1D why don’t you just sign him already instead you have Radko Gudas a 4x3 & Alex Killorn 6.25, Also just needs to be put out there, if you think Liljegren is a cap dump you’re genuinely a moron

I didn't say Liljegren was a cap dump and it's intellectually dishonest to imply that I did. Liljegren gets traded in at least a quarter of all Toronto ACGMs published by Maple Leafs fans and he's clearly moved in those as a cap maneuver.

The idea that something can be inferred from the delay in signing Zegras or Drysdale is idiotic.
