We haven’t signed him because it’s not needed and I would rather wait a year anyways, he’s probably 3 years from NHL action as they don’t want to rush him and risk him being stunted.

I would claim Lassi Thomson if I was the Canucks. Have him as your 6th-7th guy, doesn't matter, just give him some PP time to grow his confidence

If the Canucks claim him, it would mean that they received a 3rd + Lassi Thomson for Travis Hamonic, since Hamonic extension is BLOCKING Lassi

Hamonic is tough as nails and sacrifice himself for his team and teammates but he is really bad at hockey now. The only reason why he didn't get destroyed last season is because he had the luck to play with an elite D-man in the making

Pierre Dorion is a really bad GM, don't be shy to abuse him, like Sakic, Yzerman, the Panthers and many others did before.
