Has Bourque become a stud lately? I think Matheson's value is quite high after last season.

It's mostly the 10M$ in cap space for an equivalent RHD (Myer is a pylon - which isn't saying much about Savard lol) and a decent RHD prospect and a decent 4th liner - not exactly tweeners.

I would not like it if moving Joseph is the option Dorion chooses but this deal is at least reasonable and works for us to sign Pinto and finally move on

Bourque has always been a stud. He just doesn’t get talked about as much because of Stankoven. Matheson had one good year after being widely considered a bad contract. None of this matters as Suter shuts this one down
