It's mostly the 10M$ in cap space for an equivalent RHD (Myer is a pylon - which isn't saying much about Savard lol) and a decent RHD prospect and a decent 4th liner - not exactly tweeners.

Just the idea to steal NHL time from the young defensemen in Montreal to play these geezers so that they "might" lose more games. Yeah you definitely a Leafs fan trying to sabotage them

Bourque has always been a stud. He just doesn’t get talked about as much because of Stankoven. Matheson had one good year after being widely considered a bad contract. None of this matters as Suter shuts this one down
