Canucks easily decline. That's nowhere near enough for Pettersson. It's the equivalent of Vancouver offering Garland, Rathbone, Hirose, Woo, and a 2026 1st for Suzuki.

Except not even. Suzuki is about 3 tiers below Pettersson, and Gallagher is a 16 million dollar cap dump

A bunch of scraps doesn't get you Pettersson, And fat chance he's leaving Vancouver for a worse Montreal team. He wants to be on a playoff team not a rebuilding team.

I'd have hard time saying yes to anything besides Fantilli, pettey Is a known quantity and a young top 5 c in the leauge, we can't lose any Pettersson trade, I really think it would take a player like fantili to consider it

Your whole premise the 1st to get out of Gallagher and you think 3 very average prospects are enough to land EP40. This trade isn't enough to get EP40 on his own let own take on BG. Canucks easily decline.

You habs fans want EP40 a 100 point 1st line center with selke potential you need to start adding multiple firsts with top prospects like Rienbacher, Hutson, Newhook, or Slafkovsky to make it realistic.

I mean Pierre Luc Dubios got the jets Gabriel Vilardi, Rasmus Kupari, Alex Iafallo and a 2024 second-round draft pick and EP40 is way better then PLD.

Based on your proposal it appears you think young top line centers have next to no trade value whatsoever. So I'm sure you would be happy to dump him and a failed prospect in slaf to get an overpaid veteran winger
